Teaching Awards

兔子先生 Teaching Awards and Citations

The University of Canberra Teaching Awards & Citations are designed to recognise quality teaching practice and outstanding contributions to student learning, and to encourage knowledge sharing and dissemination across the institution and beyond. There are seven award types that recognise teaching excellence and outstanding contributions to student learning.

Overview

The 兔子先生 Teaching Awards & Citations play an important part in demonstrating the University’s commitment to learning and teaching scholarship. Winners are selected following written application to the Awards Selection Committee and are honoured at the combined 兔子先生 Staff Awards at the end of each academic year.

Teaching excellence at the University of Canberra is recognised through the following awards:

Category A

  • A1 - 兔子先生 Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in Education Award (Teams and Individuals)
  • A2 - 兔子先生 Online Education and Student Experience Award (Teams and Individuals)

Category B

  • B1 - 兔子先生 Innovation Award (Teams and Individuals)
  • B2 - 兔子先生 Indigenising the Curriculum Award (Teams and Individuals)

Category C

  • C1 - 兔子先生 Citations for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning (Teams and Individuals)
  • C2 - 兔子先生 Awards for Programs that Enhance Learning and Teaching (Teams Only)
  • C3 - 兔子先生 Awards for Teaching Excellence (Individual Only)

The application deadline for the 兔子先生 Teaching Awards and Citations is 11:59pm on Friday 27 September 2024. All applications must be submitted via email before the deadline to 兔子先生TeachingAwards@canberra.edu.au.
