Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:1. Apply planar radiographic techniques and protocols, including modifications, to improve diagnostic image quality, minimise radiation dose and demonstrate required anatomy or potential pathology;
2. Safely and competently perform simulated radiographic examinations of the pelvis, hip and femur, shoulders and humerus, spine, and skull, demonstrating professionalism inpatient communication and care;
3. Evaluate radiographic images using recognised criteria; and
4. Analyse and apply knowledge of normal anatomical structures and common pathological and traumatic conditions relevant to radiographic examinations.
